Power steering pump

Has anybody ever had a power steering pump replaced on their M5/M6? Mine is a little noisy and I'm sure it's causing a whine at low speed and rpm. Sounds a bit like a bin truck. Does anybody else have this noise?

Are you referring to the dct whine? Mine can be heard in neutral. I've not heard one on YouTube sound like this but it can be heard on a video I have of mine. It's not crazy loud, I initially thought it was a characteristic of the v8 but looked into it and found the power steering pump noisy.

Did you replace the power steering pump and have the noise disappear?

No steering. I also have 275s upfront. Think that has something to do with it. It's not bad but i know it's there.
