Well 305 on M6 343M will stick out 20 mm compare to OEM M5 (295 tire + 343M M5)... 15 mm because of offset and 5 mm because of tire; but for sure your wheels have less height.
For 315/30/20 R888 + 20" rim the total height of wheel is 27.44"
For 305/30/20 tire +20" rim the total height of wheel is 27.2" or 0.24" shorter but I'm not sure if it helps... you will be fine from suspension side BTW

Thanks, curious about fender rubbing as I think when lowered I might already be pushing it with 295s on the M6 wheels.

Cjr, does your M5 have substantially more traction from a dig with the 315s r888 on stock rims?

No more playing games 1month wait on thses tires from tirerack.

had my Old 20" wheels before but I can only put 285/30/20 R888 which it was still spinning due to power, and with the OFFSET i would NOT be able to put 315/30/20, so had to get rid of the bbs and stay on my 19"

305/30/19 r888
MUST DO HEAT CYCLE!
