Just called Sinan to ask when their next 20% off sale is. They said Steve Dinan said they aren't going to have any more sales. I don't believe it since they had 3 in the past year!

Well they could have just been doing sales since they haven't had any "new" product for a couple years and were trying to buy themselves time. Now that they have stuff for new models seemingly being released I wouldn't be surprised if they don't do any sales for a significant amount of time. Unless of course sales slide then all bets are off.

what do you mean? they've got 1 very expensive sedan with new parts lol they'd have been better off doing a new stage for 335i then for the m5 if they were just trying to get customers.

I mean in the past month or so they have released basically a full package for the M5, a decent chunk of things for the 550i, and 335i in addition to stuff for the 435i, 328i and other stuff like Shockware, N54 turbos and what not. From the looks of the release e-mail for the new tuning box the M6, 650i, and 750i versions will be coming shortly and I can only assume other items like exhausts and what not wouldn't be far behind. Given, those 3 models might not be a huge market but the big cars is THEIR market (high dollar). At Bimmerfest they also had an M235 that looked to have everything on it as well so I would assume those items would be coming out shortly to boot. That's quite a formidable product release list in a short amount of time for any company much less one that hasn't had any major product releases in what seems like years.

With the abundance of stuff coming out quickly, assuming it sells, there would be no need for sales to stimulate cash flow is all I am saying.

Has anyone tried this tune with an Akra, GruppeM intake and AMS catted downpipes?

Before you spent money on the GruppeM go look at M6beasts thread on a custom intake setup that is showing amazing real gains and amazing sounds...

BMS + custom intake +AMS + akra cheaper more reliable and 10x more bang for the buck.

I am running the Dinan Stage 2 with full Meisterschaft, AMS catted DP, & Dinan Intake. When I dropped my car off I was running the BMS intake and they told me it's fine. Dinan states you need to dump stock intake period. So you are not forced to use all Dinan products to get the gains they promise. My car drives very well and does automatic down shifts for me in sport mode. That's what I like best about this tune. Before I found myself driving w my paddle shifters only. Stock my car was never in the right gear. You will need to turn traction control partially off or the DTC will keep from cutting the power during wheel spin which happens a lot. I am convinced there tune controls a lot more than just boost trickery. Next week I am changing intake and going with the MSR. I miss the sound of my BMS intake but not the heat soak.
