I find this totally entertaining and also informative. This board was getting stagnate for awhile here lol. Only a few tuners can customize the software, and I stand behind Mission Performance 100%

We've got guys on here who make alot of money and some work hard just to finally afford a tune much less their car. i don't have time to prove shit to any stranger so you "tuners" out there enjoy what you are doing and stop arguing who has the bigger d head.
You do know that Rob and I did not push the tune to its max limit as you have with yours. It was purposely tapered down below 700w/t to avoid clutch issues. I am sure once Rob picks up clutches, a new file will be loaded to take advantage of that. Then it would be a good race.

I swear I'm gonna get to the ECU's, Mr Tuner. I finally bought a commuter for the daily and can now leave the beast in the garage for days. Doing DP's at the same time.

Can someone enlighten me? Is there a way to turn off CEL only for the downpipes? Or do you have to overall turn off CEL?

Yes, there are many different ways to do this. You can remove specific fault codes if needed, you can turn the diagnostic functions for cat efficiency off, or change a number of different settings to prevent this light. There are literally 20 ways to skin this "cat", pun intended.

The best way is the least invasive way, leaving all functions/sensors/settings alone and only preventing diagnosis of cat efficiency. This is the way we do it, although we've seen tunes in this market and some in other markets such as the E9x M3 and E6x M5/M6 where the light has been fully disabled, or more changes were made than necessary to achieve the desired goal. This separates those who know what they are doing from those that are simply hacking the code apart.

We've had customers in the past in other markets request this as the only change in the software - this obviously leaves a lot of power on the table, but each customer has a specific request that we're more than happy to tailor the software to. Most of these "strange" or "basic" requests come from non-US territories like Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia. In the US, Canada, and Germany, customers want all of the good stuff plus the extra features. We've tuned cars in fifty countries around the world so it's very interesting analyzing the general trends and requests from each region.

Yes Gary. I'm very happy I waited for Halim. It's a very good tune that delivered on its promise. What I had before was slow in comparison. You and I and many others from overseas who don't post up on the forums benefit from his knowledge. For those who would like another tuner who delivers contact HC Performance. There are many options for tunes now. My preference is written in my flag!!

For those who do not remember, we joined these boards abruptly and caused a bit of chaos/conflict with few old timer tuners. One of them being LfeLunden, a member that runs a file service company somewhere in Europe. After much of fighting, LfeLunden got banned from these boards, changed the name to lunden to join back in, and things went on well...well until now. Right now we are on our trip to Bahrain once again and ran a competition retuning session with Cazimi/lfelunden. At first the car car was re-tuned by that company to get respectful 725/760 wheel.

And then the same car was reflashed and tuned by us for a grand result of 767/787 wheel:

The vehicle is a monster now and all it needs is stage 2 turbos to go above 800mark.
You guys seem to do this quite often, why do you find it necessary to jump into tuning threads and start bad mouthing other companies and boast about what you can do? Nobody asked about your re tune competition or the results of it. No one cares about how you made your abrupt/controversial entrance into the forums with all odds against you, a true underdog story in theaters next month. Thanks for re-introducing yourselves and refreshing our memories for those that forgot. It had zero relevance to anything that was discussed in this thread. No one even mentioned your company name either, I would understand if someone said something negative about you and you were defending yourselves. You don't see Benvo who has the most posts in this thread or any other tuner doing what you guys do, have some class.

The OP asked for tuning suggestions. BPM jumps in, lunden jumps in, and it appears he called out Mission;. Can't remember since it seems he's been banned and his posts deleted. What's wrong with tuners jumping into these threads? If they want to volunteer some info and results of their work, then all the better for everyone to know without asking. Why don't you go back and read Benvo's posts, very passive aggressive when it comes to other tunes.

But I get what you're saying about Alex@mission, he can be a bit confrontational with his approach.

I have no problems with vendors jumping into threads and giving information about what they can do, if you're good at what you do then get paid to do it. And if lunden did actually start running his mouth first then their post is justified. They've done this multiple times though and even admitted on the post i quoted from them that they came into this forum stirring up shit.

Nothing I said was passive aggressive. I've mentioned things I've seen in my course of tuning thousands of cars worldwide. I try to keep comments neutral and informative. Take it as you will and leave me out of vendor arguing because I will not partake in it. Some are new to the tuning industry and some have seen it all.

End of day, the OP has several options to choose from. Don't be discouraged by these posts as they are all great tuner/shops.. I've seen nothing but great things come out of these shops and they all have provided great products and customer service. As in any industry, there will be competition and debate. All you can do is look at the facts and results to help make your choices.

Mission, BPM, DME, HCP - all have proven tunes whether one is higher than the other. End of day, all depends on your goals, expectations, and what your willing to do . Can't go wrong with any of them.

To mission, BPM, DME, and HcP. I appreciate all you have done on the forums, for your customers, and the community. Also for keeping everyone honest.
