Coilover Height Adjustment
My dealer is having a hard time getting my coilover height correct... I asked for a 0.6 inch drop and they ended up just trying to even the wheel gap front and back. I'm working with them to resolve but don't have the stock height to back calculate into what they need. The dealer is measuring the distance between the bottom wheel lip and the fender front and back. I still don't think it's correct but after some adjustment the tech measured 642mm in the front and 638mm rear. I'd really appreciate it if someone could measure on a stock vehicle or competition pack vehicle.

For others who may need this in the future, I spoke with Dinan and they advised the distance from the center of the wheel to the fender on their settings is 14.25 inches in the front and 13.75 inches in the rear.

The installation instructions are very specific and very detailed on how to install the component's.
For example, it does show and say (just like all suspension kits) to measure from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender. Also with the Dinan kit it talks about the bump stop height, etc. It is a very straight forward easy installation. Hope it turns out good for you. |
