B&O - Does the center speaker pops up and closes upon engine start up?

Hello,

I have a quick question in regards to B&O center speaker.

I have noticed today that upon start up of the engine, the center speaker pops up and closes automatically (when audio is turned off).

I don't remember seeing this before.. (maybe I am wrong here haha)

Is this normal behavior?

Thank you!

Mine does the same thing. It doesn't do it all the time.

The B&O center speaker on the dash, by design, raises and lowers.

When the audio is on, it will be raised. When the audio is muted, it will lower.

If you never mute the audio, then when you turn the M5 on it will raise and when you turn it off it will lower.

It's that simple.
