Test drove the new M3 today

Love the stout stance of the 4-door
Surprised at the loudness and raspiness of the exhaust note on a cold start - I likey
Really miss having a nimble car
As others have indicated, the seats are very comfortable - felt almost custom-molded to my body - this is a big plus for me as I have had difficulty getting comfortable in "standard" 3-series cars in the past
Would I buy one? Maybe when the ZCP comes out

Again, apples and oranges.

One purchases an M5 for a certain set of reasons.

Another, an M3, for a different set of reasons with perhaps an overlap or two of the former.

If I were to provide yet another analogy, an M5 is like a G5 whereas an M3 is like an F-16.

Been there done that, looks like a 3 series with a body kit, not in the same class as the 5....
