Pic of my M5 after BMW Welt delivery

Just thought I'd share a pic of my Moonstone Metallic M5 outside the Welt right after our delivery. It was a very special experience. It's my first M5 since the E39 and it's a great car, albeit difficult to really push it too hard with the break-in period and the traffic in Europe. Autobahn somewhat of a letdown driving south into Austria. Only a few no limit zones. Didn't help that it poured rain the entire drive to Salzburg!

If you are heading west from Salzburg, make sure to take some time and map out the Deutche Alpenstrasse (German Alpine Road).

WAAAY better than the Autobahn IMO. We have highways here in the US. We don't have the towns and sites you'll see on the Alpenstrasse.

Thanks for comments. We wanted to drive on the Alpinestrasse but didn't get a chance to. One day….

The mark under the side reflector is just an artifact from the photo fortunately.

I actually ordered the car with the powder coated black wheel option, but my dealer checked the wrong box. I was bummed but my dealer will swap out the black wheels (on a brand new set of rubber) when the car returns, so they took care of me.
