LCI Grill

Ordered the LCI grill from Germany.
Instructions (in German, to a local friend) were that it cannot be shipped to the US (!!) - whats up with that!

Any way - EUR 92/piece;
51138057223 and 51138057224

Should be ready for local (DE) pick up in 4-6 weeks - can't wait to get them.

No, they are the standard LCI style (less slats) grilles.

51 13 8 057 224 LCI front right grille
51 13 8 057 223 LCI front left grille (with no night vision)
51 13 8 057 229 LCI front left grille (with night vision)
You would need to separately order the M5 logo badge if you want that
51 13 8 059 945 LCI M5 logo for LCI grille

The black grilles are:
51 71 2 352 807 M Performance black grille LCI left (with no night vision)

Do you know when these are going to be available, I tried ordering with my local dealer and although the part numbers were live in the system there was no stock available in Munich?

Germany keeps changing the release date on the front grilles. Current release date is the 29th of this month.

Yup. As with all the M Performance parts availability is scarce and ordering seems to be variable. The embargo on the Ceramic brake retrofit came off today apparently.

You gotta to be kidding about ordering the M5 logo separately? Just ordered through getbmwparts.com for the LCI grills couple days ago and probably get them in a month.

nope it's a separate part. which I am really please about as when I buy my m4 next year I intend to rebadge it M3 as it should have been badge from the factory!

When you click on F10 5 series section its under the F10GRILLS. Click on options and LCI M5 grills are there. You can also go to the parts section and can get it through the part numbers listed in the thread.

Have you fitted these yet?

My dealer here in India is able to order these for me, but says that BMW Germany has mentioned that these would not fit the pre-LCI M5. I don't see why it shouldn't fit as the bumper has not changed. Anyone had any luck?
