Check pricing on a '13 M5 CPO

'13 M5 CPO, all options (exec pkg, driver assistance, full leather, b&o) with 35k miles, coming in at 57K.

Seems reasonable given it's a CPO and one of the last 13's so the base warranty has about a year left.

I read in the other threads people saying the value had dropped quite a bit, but I only see them listed in the low 60's for CPO with 32-35k miles, and I've had 3 potential cars now dissapear while trying to haggle the dealer down below 60 (someone else pays full price).

It was definitely a good price! Too bad I lost this one too, only by an hour or so today. Buying a car from far away is very difficult.

TrevorM3 - thanks for the offer, but I'm not up for red interior. Also looking for silver/grey exterior.

I just traded in my 2013 M5 (Singapore Grey, Black full leather, Drivers asst., Exec, B&O). Car has 4,700 miles, no issues.

I believe the dealer is going to CPO the car and list it for $64-65K. It can probably be had for low 60's.

PM if you want more info

I bought mine from the complete other side of the country it was new but when the right deal comes along sometimes even if a total pia it's worth it.

Thanks! There are zero CPO's in my state. And actually only a couple sold by 3rd party used car dealers with like 4 owners with the interior armor-all'd to a super bright shine

Found another that fits the bill but it's asking about 10k higher. hm.

The search continues! I've found that almost all the new listings are listed on bmwusa.com/cpo but are NOT cpo. The dealers are telling me it's just too expensive to CPO the car.. But I wouldn't spend $60k on a car with 10 months warranty left.

Also I wonder why they wouldn't CPO, if it's more than just a cost thing. In one case there was a car w/ no oil changes till like 14k miles from new. I figure I'll stay away from that.

BMW will only CPO a car if all of the scheduled maintenance has been performed and documented by the dealer.
Cars not maintained, buybacks, lemons, vehicles where the manufactures warranty has been voided, are not eligible for CPO.
If you find the right car that is clean and has all of the maintenance performed, usually you can have the dealership CPO the car. They will charge you around 2500-3500 to do so.
Dealerships lists cars as non CPO because it is cheaper and they don't have as many reconditioning costs, along with no extended warranty.

Yeah, it is hard to know if it's because there is something in the cars history, or just that the dealer thinks it adds to much to the price so they won't sell as fast.

Something must have changed in the last week, as CPO is not listed on any of the new cars coming up, and the dealers are saying they won't do it at any price.

Also thanks for this! Very clean car! I have had the opportunity to think about Alpine White a few times and I think I'm just not there.. Really I'd like Space Grey, but mostly looking at Singapore Grey, and then potentially MCB but that's less common.
