Singapore Gray with Black 343M Wheels need opinion
Hello All,
I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a new M5. I am struggling with the color selection. My first choice is Alpine White but due the fact we just purchased a new White SUV I really want to choose a different color. I definitely want to get the black 343M wheels but not sure what color to get with those wheels. I am leaning towards Singapore Gray because its different but I am concerned it will not look good with the black 343 wheels. I have not seen Singapore Gray in person so was wondering if anyone has seen Singapore gray with the black 343 wheels and was wondering how this combo looks. I am going for a very aggressive look. BTW- Space Gray would be my second choice |

change the colour of the wheels to suit the colour of the car, not the other way around.....
Nevertheless, if you want dark wheels my first choice would be space gray...I don't think singapore grey does the m5 any favours but thats just my opinion |

I think the Gloss Black 343's look pretty good on Singapore Gray. Can you order the 343's in Gloss from the factory? The black 343's I have seen look more satin or flat black.

I think from factory its a satin finish. My dealer got mine powder coated a high gloss black. The wheels also match the grilles and rear badge that I got from IND (which are also gloss black).

The silver 343 wheels do look good on the Singapore Grey color, but the wheels in black just change the look a bit. Seems more aggressive looking to me.

Anyone have a pic of Singapore Gray with the standard satin/flat black 343 wheels? Just curious.

I agree it's definitely more aggressive. Probably looks real good w/ the black leather. I like the silver w/ SO looks real classy.

I almost went with the Sakhir Orange interior but it was just too flashy for me.

I figured also adding the Piano Black trim to the Sakhir Orange would really set the interior off.

I wanted the Piano Black, but heard too many people saying it scratches easily. so just went with the anthracite wood.

One of the biggest myths on the board!! Had PB in my M3 for 3 years and not a scratch, my M5 for 14 months nothing!!! Best looking trim!!!

Beautiful choice... But I'm a little biased (SG, SO, anthracite, silver 343s). The trim holds up great and is still classy, I like the aluminum sporty look, but it personally just felt a little cold to me. But that's why we have choices and mods- to get it just the way we like it! That's the only opinion that matters ( & my wife's of course )

So glad I found this thread. Might pick up a SG M5 tomorrow, and have the option to trade out the regular polished wheels for black. I've always stayed away from black wheels, but I'm thinking it might be a fun change. Will probably looks for some other wheels down the road anyway. The silver wheels do look sharp with SG though. Decisions decisions...
