Oil Leak Issue....Need Some Advice!

So i recently purchased a 2013 M5 but had a PPI done prior to committing on purchasing the vehicle. Tires and battery needed replacement which i already took care of but the major component BMW identified was an oil leak from the differential and crank case vent valves. Now just to give you some background about the car, the warranty expired in early 2017 so all maintenance or issues reported with the car were taken care of at the dealership so it is in great shape. Now the BMW service representative told me that the oil isn't actually leaking out of the car on to the floor but that the gasket and seals have worn away causing oil to leak out. They are quoting me $2,600 for the repair which i is about 10 hours of labor based on what they told me. I thought it would be helpful to first see if you guys have had any experience with this issue and what your recommendations are before i potentially spend $2,600 in repairs. I have also attached a screen shot of the actual inspection recommendations.

You should be able to get the work done cheaper at an independent.
What's the mileage on the car, there seems to be a lot of leaks and issues with non-maintenance components.

My 2013 has basically the same mileage and I have had none of those issues. It is a lot of leaks for such low mileage .

I have 37 k and have had to replace nothing but a hose and a strut. This kind of stuff is why I am selling this summer OR getting an extended warranty before mine is up.

As someone else suggested I would try a trusted Indy shop; not sure where you’re located but certainly someone on here can steer you to a good shop. It should be less expensive.

Yea I agree. Crazy that with low miles it already has oil leaks.
Yea I agree I'll probably go with an INDY shop. I'm located in NY/NJ

i threw a SES light earlier this year for a crank case vent hose. Dealer replaced it while i was under warranty. Replacing it is one thing, finding out why it was replaced in the 1st place is another.
