For the benefit of everyone, I called my credit union and they quoted 5yr/60K warranty for $3,354 and this is Platinum coverage, which I think is pretty good deal, thought I will share that. Better to call your CU than go through dealers

I just got an extended warranty from autopom! about 10 days ago. The warranty itself is backed by CarGuard. Platinum level, meaning exclusionary coverage, 4 yrs/48K miles, for $2800 or about $110/month if you use their payment plan.

My credit unions offer Route 66, they don't cover M cars...

phillyd How many Miles did you have on your car when you got the warranty? What is the deductible? Do you have a phone number?
@fak005 I noticed terrible reviews for the Warranty Group. Did you find something different during your research? |

I called local BMW, they have a company called CNA, recced by their service guy, but they don't insure Ms... Of course. Guy I bought it from says he has someone, I'll call him tomorrow and see what's up. I can't sleep at night without warranty, it's really bothering me. I'm not even driving the car hard at all. Scared too. Lol |

I only trust fidelity as both benz, bmw and porsche service advisers said they are the easiest to deal with. |

I have 48,xxx miles. The deductible is $100, and like I said it's an exclusionary warranty so the coverage should be good. The lady I worked with there was Dacey Bashaw. You can reach her at 800 724-8141 ext. 8.

Not yet, my warranty runs out in 3 weeks... I'm currently shopping for a BMW warranty but I did get quoted this from my guy.
2013 M5 25k-35k Fidelity Platinum with $250 deductible: 2 yr / 24K - $2448.00 3 yr / 36K - $3976.00 4 yr / 48K - $5883.00 5 yr / 60K - $7346.00 5 yr / 75K - $7864.00 6 yr / 72K - $8887.00 If BMW is close to this I'll do that instead of Fidelity but Fidelity is good. They underwrite VW factory warranty. |

I had my doubts before I purchased my 3rd party warranty.
Today is the day.. Went in for oil change and asked the SA to look for the slight oil leak trace. Turns out the upper oil pan is leaking and also found worn front thrust rod bushings. Oil pan fix - $2600. Replaced both upper/lower seals Thrust bushing - $1200 I paid $2700 for additional 4 years and 100K on the meter with $250 deduct. I have 2013 550xi with 50k miles. Member's Choice is the company, the SA told me they approved the repairs but wanted me to take the car to the $90/hr place and my SA told them I will not go to other places (??). They finally settled on $130/hr rate My point is, get the extended warranty if you have N63. |

I had autopom on my old m5. I got it at 48k miles for around 2950. Didn't need to use it, since the car was totaled I called them up and they canceled it and are sending me a refund "prorated".
Tbh I didn't have any high expectations from them judging from the BBB reviews and some scattered forum reviews. They also had a 90 day "wait period" which I thought was pretty stupid, 3 months to wait for what? Thats in addition to the 30 day initial wait period/1000 mile. I would call the local BMW dealer and ask them which extended warranty company pays out the best and most. |

My SA told me they work with Easycare and Fidelity the most. Those are the 2 I'll look into when my warranty expires in July. I'll drop Troy an email too.
