Keep old plates even if you sell the car?
Part of getting the M5, would need to sell my E90. I can do a trade-in and keep the plates, but I think I can do better in selling the car on my own and still come out on top even after losing the tax benefit on trade-in. Only snag is I can't figure out if I can keep my plates after selling the current car - really like them. I have been told it's possible. Both cars are / will be registered in NJ. Any input on how to do this will be appreciated. Thanks
