Honestly, you can pick up a first aid kit for the trunk that is much better than anything BMW would include, for much cheaper.

Besides, have you ever broken down and said to yourself, "if only I had that warning triangle in my trunk"?
Well I have both because I read here that they didnt ship them, so I grabbed them at ED.
I would have done the exact same thing.

Would be nice to have. When I got my flat (pothole) right on the onramp merge for 287 and the Sprain, I was stuck in a pretty hairy spot. Luckily, I keep my Fire Dept. go bag in my trunk, so I had some flares to use. If I did't have them, I would have appreciated having the triangle to set up about 60 feet behind my car.

check the paintwork carefully, make sure there are no swirl marks. Easy to miss in the excitement of the occasion.
If you're not happy, say so.

Make sure you know how to drive it off the lot w/o looking like a fool. Even though I previously had an SMG, in all my excitement I was a bit flustered and forgot how everything worked.

Thank you! Got a steal on it too. 12.6% off MSRP. BMW of Encinitas took care of me. My CA was Peter. He is awesome.

Start a thread for front plate in CA and you should get some feedback
I live in Los Angeles, CA as well and front plates are a MUST, not sure if you can escape from that.

While front plates are technically required in Ca in 15 years I have only ever received a ticket once. I think it cost $150 or so to clear and that was from some meter maid in Berkeley who obviously had nothing better to do as I did t even have an expired meter.
