Sure thing. Beast is going good. I had a issue that I'll be chiming in on once I get my refund back. I'm pretty much done now as I don't need all I had done with my E60 M5. Just love this car.

Hmm, curious to hear about your experience with whatever it is. Yeah the f10 is crazy. Still miss the v10 scream though.

Interior time

So over the past weekend I went ahead and updated the interior with the full compliment of mperformance cf parts and whatnot. Only thing not installed yet is the wheel as I'm waiting on my cf paddles in 2x2 to show up. Also installed the mperformance mirror covers. Still trying to keep a clean look, but we all know how that goes lol...

First up on the list were the mirror covers. Couldn't be any easier. It really is just a pull up then out affair. Install is just as simple. Install the top by the car first and then pop in the outside after all the tabs are lined up.

Second were the interior bulbs. I chose bimmian's gold series as they are BRIGHT. I like BRIGHT interior led bulbs. Only negative about led interior bulbs right now are the lci footwell lights. Since they are an ambient multi colored light there is no led replacement. I did see that bimmian offers a lci f30 multi colored led replacement so I might try that out, but not in a rush. It doesn't really affect the look at all as the bimmian leds are BRIGHT. Did I mention they are BRIGHT? Well yes they are. If you want discreet go oem, if you want BRIGHT, go with these.

Then came the interior trim, dct knob, and floormats. Floormats easy, dct knob easyish, and the interior trim easy except center console. A big tip for the dct knob is to use a swiss army knife to get under the lighted trim. Nothing else worked for me. Also I didn't care since the cf replacement comes with a new one anyways.

Center console death:

It looks scary, but it's really just a bunch of torx screws. If you take your time it's not too bad. Rest of the trim is easy though. Just a pull and replace affair. The light switch, engine button, and vents have the same screws to remove as the center console.

That's it for now. Still waiting on a few more things before the next phase starts. Should be an exciting December for sure!

I purchased everything from my local dealership. They matched online pricing. I find if you build a relationship with your local parts department they will work with you. Can't remember the last time I actually paid list for anything. Relationships are key!

Thanks! Yes cf is drool. Really looks sharp too. Thought it would be too much black in the interior, but the aluminum under trim shines nice next to it. I'll work on getting you an interior led pic.

The grand install is set for next week! I'm super excited about it. Should just about finish the build off. ECU's ship off Tuesday to VF Engineering and everything will be put on during that down time. Some horrible teasers below. What's the point in having a journal if you can't post junk pics of boxes lol...

Yeah I wanted options so I have blue for the brakes and silver for the wheels. The BBS wheels I'm getting are handbrushed gloss clear of course.
