I saw these a couple days ago but figured they would be up here any day now but still nothing...So I figured it would be okay to post it up.

Sorry for asking a "stupid" question but what would an F10 M5 that is LCI equipped have advantage over the current non LCI model?

nothing that your average person would notice. Different day time running lights, maybe taillights, and that's about it.

My LCI guess would be that their won't be any changes to the tail lights, they are already up to date. Is it possible that the LCI M5 might come with different suspension? That m5 looks lower then stock, that would be awesome for new owners. Daytime running fog lights are possible as well, it kind of relates to the M3 and the new Generation 3 series where they have the brighter angel eyes. They look good but honestly its not a big deal and after time there will be cheap/easy ways to get that OEM look. One way is just getting a Hamman front bumper.

I'm sure a guess is the best I can ask for, but what is the most likely time I can expect these to go into production? I'm planning on placing an order around April or May, but will hold off another month or two if the LCI version is available.

Specs that I have read included the new LED headlights and a slight modification to the tail lights. The F12 M6 already has these squared LED headlamps. I could take them or leave them. Does not seem to be a big deal. In the BMW tradition, they will make a few mods (as always a couple years after first body style production date) that will make the older builds look a little "not as new" so that people will upgrade. Then 2-3 years from now the new body style change will come that will REALLY make the F10 look "old" and we all will jump in and buy again...because we are suckers!-lol!

Those would be much nicer OEM wheels, they almost look like these

Good eye there. At first glance I thought they were blacked out 20" OEM.

those are the all season tires... I had the same wheels when I took euro delivery with winter tires. Has anybody considered that maybe these are old pics from before the M5 was released???

Doubt these are pre-launch photos. The tails and the headlight corner lights are different.

also doubt these are the winter wheels folks are renting when taking ED as they usually are 19"s
and the carbon brakes won't fit with 19's . The design does look very similar though

Slightly different design for the spokes (v shape rather than straight)

are you sure that's a LCI? You sure that's not a old 2011 spyshot. I cannot see any difference behind that camo.

usually lights and bumper changes on past BMWs. On the E9X M3 they only changed the taillights to LED with a trunk change. BMW also packaged more options together, so you couldn't buy them a la carte, but I'm not sure if that's part of LCI. LCI likely is only cosmetic.

It's 20" 409M winters on that M5.

Yes, new LCI taillights, and it looks like it will get the new grills since the camo is only over the grills in the front.

You are very off, I would bet on that!

The tails are not up to date, as they are not the LED tails that almost always come on all BMW LCI models. The F10 LCI will get new LED tails 100%. The suspension and or performance will not be changed. Lastly, the headlights will be different 100%, they will have squared off angel eyes instead of round and LED optional.

I think it's a old shot of the m5. It doesn't have the square halos.

I think it's the real deal. If it was an old spy shot, there wouldn't be so much uncovered. As for the halos, like the M6, you should expect round ones with the standard xenons and squared ones with the optional LEDs. These appear to be the former.
