5X faster, reminds me of when the "whale tail" 930 came out.

I have the sport package and I don't know if that played a part in it but after I passed a car and started to turn in, it just felt like it wanted to continue on..
right off the levee
Dukes of Hazzard style.

I sadly have only been in newer porsches starting from 2001, but I've always had a passion for one, almost bought a 914/6 a few years back, but i chickened out sadly....

but I think the ultimate would be the 930 turbos or the 964 turbos, before they went to the all wheel drive platform...

that being said, i would kill for the 993 turbo.... so many choices.....

how long have you owned the 930???

lol
always admired them but never wanted one. The only one I might even consider looking into would be a Cayman, I would be as likely to buy that as an Aston or Maserati. I was referring to my 335 w/ sport and I was recalling when the 930's came out and everyone was WTF???
I know someone who put in a 3.0 into a 914, that car had some zip to it.

ahhh, sorry for misunderstanding...

a 3.0 in a 914 would be a fun drive. I know the 914/6's were good for 8.6 seconds 0-60 times, but in 1971, that was considered pretty quick (obviously excluding the muscle cars) so i can only imagine what that 3.0 could do in one of those.
