The routes kept secret? That's great! I was impressed by all the passing and obvious speeding seen in the GoPro shots and personally would be freaking out about a ticket.

Hopefully CHP would be attracted to the red Italian cars vs. my Silverstone.

So for the next event in the OC you show up and are handed the route which includes undisclosed check points etc? It's a special Italian event but BMWs are still welcome?

Has anyone ever done the LA to Vegas event? That sounds crazy having that many performance cars blasting up I-15 to Vegas. (Or crawling in traffic)

This looks like a lot of fun. I'm definitely going to make one of these events. Mark the car looks fantastic!

Now; I heard mention of allegedly "hot chicks" referenced several times. I say allegedly because while referenced, no evidence is provided. Can anyone substantiate the "hot chicks" claim with photographic evidence?

Yes, lot's of good old fashion fun! Trust me, I had some concern with ticket(s), but in the end you have to just concentrate on driving.

As for the route, you got it. On Mark's vid you'll see him being handed a white packet of papers...that is the route and directions for the rally...you chirp out and the navigator gets to work! Yep, definitely BMWs are invited. Just no awards for the German cars this time around.

Also I just found out that the next Targa is going down on April 6th, I won't be able to make it cause I'll be in ///M Escuela! (Woot! ) It's going to be a combined Targa Rally/Formula Drift event. They did this last year also. You basically drive a shorter rally route and end up at the Formula Drift event and then spend the rest of the day spectating at Formula Drift. It's fun, but not as much driving as regular Targas. Also there's hot chicks.

The Targa website says the next rally is 4/13. You can make it happen!
