F10 Model Year Comparison

Hey everyone, I've been doing research on purchasing a used F10 M5 and wanted to see if there are any significant differences between the '13 and other years aside from the steering wheel and taillights? It seems there is anecdotal evidence that I should avoid a '13 but wanted to see if there's anything else I should be factoring in. Thanks!
