Direct Wire Radar Detector

I have done searches on a couple different sites but have not found the direct wire to the mirror for the 13' M5. Mine does not look like the one shown. It does not have a block that wires "plug" into. Can someone who has done the direct wire to the mirror point me in the right direction to find the correct wires to tap into? Using Escort Max but I think the V1 uses same connection... I have both.

Would probably be a good idea to reveal which detector you're referencing.

Your power connections are inside the overhead console. Very easy...

Agreed. Also, if you do not want to tap a ground and decide to use the bolts, use a spade end on the ground wire so you do not have to take the nut completely off...I almost lost mine in the headliner.
