Car cover

Has anyone invested in a car cover? I park in a multi story car garage which has open windows so dust, snow etc comes in. also how hard is it cover and uncover the car? Does it scratch the car?
Would prefer an unmarked cover to prevent attracting attention to the car...
Thanks

i used it twice
pain in the ass
unless car is clean, scratches
i also hated that the dirty cover got dust all over the place
if i parked outside, the condensation which accumulated over the night
make a wet mess in the morning

I'd rather it get my car dirty from parking it outside 24/7 than have all the issues that a car cover can cause.

I use the 5 series one when I know i will not use the car for a couple of weeks or so. I have not noticed any scratch, but car always washed in advanced.

It has a small bimmer logo at the front, as the one on the engine.

You need some space to fold it back.

I would buy it again.

Until we finish building I'm parking outside so purchased the BMW M cover (Covercraft Weathershield HD if you want unmarked no logo). I think the cover is awesome!!! More than exceeded my expectations.

I use a car duster daily before covering and wipe down with Adams's detail spray a few times per week. Entire process takes 5-10 min. The material is extremely light weight and completely breathable. Yes, morning dew( not a concern if you're in a parking garage )can soak through but you don't want a waterproof cover that traps in moisture. If you wipe down the car before covering, the moisture left on the vehicle will dry clear and any tiny spots can be wiped down with a microfiber rag. When I remove the cover I start from the front and with the sides and trunk still attached I shake the cover like a beach towel to remove 90% of the moisture and dust.
My fear of the cover scratching my car dissipated quickly. I've been using it daily for 5+ months and car is perfect!

I'm diligent and enjoy a clean vehicle so the extra effort is worth it to me.

Thank you. I usually just drive on the weekends and sometimes it's a couple of weeks before I get to drive. I think a cover will be a good investment. However, one of my concerns is that I have a 1 year old. Wife is not into cars. So if she has to wait with the baby while I uncover the car, I think I might be put into the doghouse. Hmm need to think of some clever way...

To uncover is quick an easy for one person. you will however need more time (5 or 10 min) when back at home to fold it properly if you don' t put it again.

I have a car craft custom fit interior car cover. I keep my car covered most of the time while it is in the garage. I've had no issues. Easy on and off and keeps dust off the car. It also protects against scratches and bumps from people walking by carrying stuff.
