Ebay diffuser

Has anyone on here purchased one of these "Ebay" diffusers before? Any good reviews?

I just cant see myself spending 2-3K on a real carbon fiber diffuser on a black car.

I've dealt with eBay diffusers for customers on F10 M-sports (same rear bumper as M5) and they are not going to be a direct snap in, some require some trimming to the tabs on the diffuser, and some trimming in the channel of the bumper. If you dont have Dremel (rotary tool) experience, and you plan on doing it yourself, don't expect it to be a 5 second installation like the OEM diffusers are. Even the Vorsteiner diffuser is a little tricky to snap in, but doesn't require any trimming or cutting like the eBay diffusers would.

Some aftermarket parts fit well but the majority require a bit of tailoring. I would suggest buying from a seller with more feedback. Many times you can browse through the feedback and find a comment on the product you want to buy. There's a big seller that tags their pictures with the name "autofins". Seem to have decent feedback.

I guess Im the Cheap Filipino to try the Cheap Ebay ones First
seller Selling
$300
i offer $225+$75 shipping Total of $300 not bad and Ill make it fit with that price..lmao.

IT DOES TAKE 1 MONTH TO ARRIVE IN NJ

...lmao: party0030:

you are correct it does not fit perfect but for the price I'm sure everyone can justify price and little bit of modification from lowes/HD

the front or middle of the diffuser will fit but the end corners is the one that will need some bracket to secure from falling off.

here is ALOT of pics of before and after

That kind of looks like shit. Even in those pictures the gap is noticeable. And that metal tab to secure the corners... is ghetto. I'd bet upon closer inspection the weave is shit too.

Might look good on a black car from 40 feet. I applaud anyone trying to save money on overpriced mods. IMO this is not the way to do it.

Thank you for you LOVELY OPINION.
But theres good news and Bad News

You cnt expect a Perfect Fitment on a $300 item vs an expensive one, hence its expensive because they give you a perfect fitment if youre willing to spend that kind of doe

Bad news is theres a gap there, its $300 item expect some minor defect, to some people it wont bother them, put a Tab in there its under the car, paint it black! oh wells

Good News
I just save a ton of money by switching to Ebay!

Honestly I'm more interested in seeing how the V-Style diffuser fits (the one provided by OP). I think it looks way better than the other one posted above with the bloated looking fins.

long story short, I got the exact rear off ebay awhile back (post #5), it was a direct snap in, fitment was not too bad, except my muffler was touching the inner sides, also found some front and side skirts that copied 3D version, side skirts were ok, front not so much, the front was actually purchased from the seller in the first link.

final verdict? DO NOT BUY THESE, I wanted to see how bad these are since they are cheap, and I just purchased the full kit from Nate @ IND last week, I think I had enough of the testing on these copies.
