I agree on the wheels. Not digging that 7 spoke design if it is in fact going to be a new LCI wheel for the M5. Much prefer the 5 spoke design of the current 20" wheels. I don't even care for the new wheel design on the M6 Gran Coupe. Think they look cool on the M6 Gran Coupe, but they don't go well with the M5. in my opinion.

I wouldn't believe these guys to be honest... If they confirm that something like that - they'll just stop selling any 5 series until the LCI model appears... This will also take down the price of current 5 series with at least 10-15-20% ... To be honest - I am looking to buy the F07/GT early next month, but today I read this. Now I think to wait a little because once the new model/the LCI version appears on the market - it'll immediately drop the price of pre-LCI models.. The only problem is that I have no idea how long will I have to wait :-))

You'd think with the lci they'd fix the side vent (that's looks straight off a taurus SHO LOL) maybe bmw doesnt want to admit they made a styling mistake as a reason to keep it the same

That sucking sound you hear is the depreciation of all the overstocked pre-LCI cars on dealer lots...

Are these LCI changes not expected with the new July 2014 production? I was under the assumption they would go into effect at that time.

I wonder if they are making any mechanical changes to the car to address the pretty mediocre reviews of the steering/overall feel

My understanding from my rep is that these changes will be on the July builds.

Subtle changes but I think it will lend to a more sleek / sporty look. Hopefully we can upgrade our front bumper and headlights!

Not according to essentially all the US auto mags. When I drove one I wasn't impressed either. It was a extremely nice car just seemed more luxury oriented than sport for what I expect from a 'M' car

I love the double slat kidneys. They're more aggressive. The M5 badge as well is also a cool touch since it pays homage to the older M cars.

Good: headlights

Bad: Wheels don't suit the M5. Honestly, the E60 M5 wheels or current M5 wheels are much better than those. Also, I was hoping they wouldn't give it the new style kidney grilles. I don't like them.

I like the 7 spoke wheels on the F13 but they don't come in 20 inch,(CC brakes) so these will do just fine ....

What are the chances that these wheels wont actually appear on the car and are for the pre production car only?
