It's one of those colours you really need to see in person. Photographs just don't capture it. I took a massive leap of faith going off the dealers small sample swatch, to be honest I sweated for 2 months. But so so glad I did.

Yeah, not sure what to say given your comments about black wheels and trim. I may regret my choice of car and wheel color, but I'll see. I think the diffuser looks great and that these splitters would too. Nicely changes the look of the front. Congrats on the new car, it's a nice color for the M5. I saw one at my dealership and the Sakhir color in person is definitely better than most pictures.

Oh this is not easy!
Right, here my thinking. The front is clean and doesn't jump out and screem at you other the the wide intakes and of course the M5 badge. Add the splitters, does that make me more of a boy racer (no offence guys, just wish I was that age again), oh im 52, don't ask re the SO & SO, mid life crisis and loving it lol. So far me, don't know, Her in doors, nope. My 21 yr old, of course dad. Still pondering! |

In my opinion unless you slam it and put on 21-22" wheels it's hard to turn this car into what you want to steer clear of. To me, I think breaking up the lines of the front with CF splitters looks great.

Decision made. It's a no. Well for now anyway. Temptation to fit also gone as bigFra dropped by and took them away for fitting to his.
Loving the look and ride of the 19's but ouch cleaning them is really another matter.... |

Absolutely love it and think that the 19's work well with Sakhir. The carbon diffuser looks great to me - I'd leave as is.
How much is the M performance pedal set as I have thought about ordering the same. |

I had these on a previous X3 of all cars, and really liked them - I actually assumed they were standard on the M5! Hope you're enjoying your car... |

However, the LHD one can be used, it is about 10mm wider top to bottom, so when fitted it would extend the current footrest out by a mere 10mm. It works well. One thing though, you need to raise it to the level of your floor mat, thus allowing your mat to slip under the side of it as the mats are made a tight fit for the standard footrest. It might sound weird but once its on and the mat is back in you cannot tell the difference. Pic below |
