2014 LCI comp package gets the IND treatment
Like almost every new M5 that we see, this Singapore Gray F10 LCI came to us to eliminate the chrome trim and get rid of the ugly orange reflectors. IND's painted cosmetic package does exactly that, by supplying custom painted kidney grilles, fender gills and color-matched reflectors. The result may be subtle, but it definitely gives a stock M5 a more aggressive and sporty look.
Modifications IND Painted Cosmetic Package -Painted LCI grills -Singapore Gray reflectors -Painted side grills

Usually not a big fan of 601 especially that they are not forged... but yours look the best on an M5 I have seen so far and I don't think 343 would be as nice on your SG color...
Good job again |

Blacking out the M logo on the back would look great. Just an idea.

I personally don't mind the rear reflectors since they match the tail lights. Also the rear reflectors are come on all F10's (Euro and US) but the front reflectors only come on the US Spec M5's.

Wow
Beautiful car.
I've been irritated that BMW doesn't provide enough nice colors for the M5 but I guess that I completely ruled out Singapore Grey, in error, as being too dark. I have a Space Gray on order but I look at your car and I'm thinking about trying to make a last minute change to Singapore Grey. Do you think these subtle changes would work with Space Gray? I would probably do them but with gloss black. What color interior did you go with? If SO, are you happy with that color living with it day to day? Thanks and congrats on the car. |

The bumper just looks bigger and you still gets the dents in the bumper where the reflectors sits.

Thanks Bluehorseshoe. Admittedly I felt the same way you did...even right after the purchase. I was concerned that the darker color would not show the lines of the car well and that it would be harder to maintain (keep clean and free from scratches and swirls). But ultimately, I decided on Singapore Grey because it is an M-specific color, I was coming from a Space Grey E92 M3 and I wanted a change and because the color is just plain beautiful, especially during the day. No regrets now. My dealer happened to have 2 identical cars with almost all of the packages and options I wanted. I went with black extended leather, competition package, executive package, driver assistance plus, lighting package and B&O. I'm completely happy with the black interior and all of the packages/options...but if I were patient enough to order the car, I would probably go with Amaro brown extended. I think gloss black kidney grills, gloss black side markers (gloss outers and matte inners) and color-matched front bumper reflectors would look great on Space Grey. Here's a pic I found of a Space Grey F10 M5 (pre-LCI) with those items installed. Hope that helps...good luck! |
