Please don't hate, but I still have the tune of an e39 m5 with the muffler delete in my heart.

+1. M5 also suffers from too much sound insulation. Even with an aftermarket kick ass exhaust, u are not gonna hear much of it in the cabin. U are just pleasuring the bystanders.

It amazes me how nice my M5 sounds with the Akra exhaust every time I hear it driven away by the valet. It sounds like a beast with some exotic touch to it. I much prefer it to the more traditional V8 rumble from the likes of AMG. Just too bad I don't hear much of it inside the cabin

the problem with a lot of the cars above is reliability, goto their forums and look at the stories. you almost need a second car just in Case.

AM - had a AMv8 and what a nightmare after it completely dying on a busy main road (north circular) late on Xmas eve almost giving me a hernia pushing the thing off the road. for six months there was always some warning light or issue. AM eventually gave me my money back. Maserati a colleague had one and had to get it towed out of the office car park. Jaguar seems to be better but still the odd crazy tale and it's made by people from Birmingham LOL. BMW reliability is very good. I've been driving since 2001 and only had one mechanical issue (330i fan recall). But on many other more exotic/pricey cars lots of issues, one of the reasons I've gone back to BMW over the years.

Agree
I have 3 BMWs now (Getting rid of one soon-
X5
550i
M5

All very reliable so far, 9 lyrics issue so far was bad gas fill ups that caused injectors to malfunction requiring replacement but that was it... Over more than 2 years BMW kwnership!!

On the other hand,
Had MBenz E550 coupe 2010 which I almost lemon ed it for them till I gladly got rid of it .
Was best looking car for me though
Interiors were outdated
But exterior was OMG
