Yesterday I traded in my '11 Jerez Black M3 Competition and ordered a '14 M5 Competition.. i have owned 2 competition M cars (E46), and I'm excited to put the '14 M5 to the test to see which is ultimately overall better...I ordered the following:
Monte Carlo Blue Black Full Leather w Headliner Aluminum Trim Comp Package-601 rims Executive Package LED lighting package No B and O (IMO not worth 4k) I will keep everyone updated on how long the process takes and how the car compares to the other 2 Competition cars... |

i out my order in on july 1st, production was finished on the 24th. The car made it to Oxnard this Monday. Now waiting to see how long it takes to get thru VPC, and to the dealer. I can tell you the Track My BMW site is a fine piece, that lags significantly behind the real story. It literally takes the real 8 to 9 weeks. The only thing that I should have done was to have my dealer find a spot on an earlier ship. Sat on the docks for about a week. good luck |

My car just finished production yesterday, and is at the port for delivery. I will keep everyone informed on how long the shipment takes to Texas...

We'll my car is at the VDC in Brunswick and should be delivered middle-end of next week at the latest!! Waiting 8-10 weeks was brutal, but I feel it makes picking up your car a much more exciting experience.. I am having the dealership install IND painted front reflectors and tint... I will post pics and my thoughts of my comparison between the now 3 competition package M's I've owned....

No discount.... But I got great trade in $$ for my '11 M3 CP.... I figured this early with the LCI '14 coming out discounts are probably rare except for loyalty incentives....picking my car up this week, I'll post pics when I pick it up....

The MCB color really looks even better in person than the pics... The car is just amazing compared to my other comp e46, e92 M3's... It's definitely heavier but the power makes my other cars seem like driving a 128... The new suspension and exhaust on the CP is amazing and louder and different sounding than the '13 M5 I test drove.. I am really impressed with the full merino leather, probably the best option I got inside the car. It really makes the cabin that much better!!! The CP M5 is the best BMW I have ever owned, so far....
