Change default startup settings

Hey guys, how do I change the default startup settings? This is for throttle response, dampers and steering. Thanks.

This was a surprise to me also. You can setup default settings in an M3 but not an M5.

Yeah. Drives you nuts but a quick push and you're good.

I think BMW is obligated to do this, at least with the shift points, in order to state certain MPG....OR maybe I just made that up.

agree, weird for the car able to save your profile and stereo settings but cant save anything else. for a car to be so customisable, its silly that every time I get into the car I have to turn off ac, push m2 twice, push ok, go to random on ipod before even getting out of the garage.

I think the only way is through coding.

Doesn't work. After hitting options while in the m menu, there is a "Settings" option there but I can't even select it.

It has you confirm your selection any time you have an M button setting that disables traction control.
