Need advice from data logs.
I know this is the wrong sub forum but i haven't gotten any responses on other sub forums so I'd figure I'd ask here since there seems to be more discussion regarding tuning. I have a 2015 550xi, The car has occasional knock on data logs and cannot make target boost. It does not feel 100% normal when driving and feels slow on WOT. I recently took it to a shop and they said everything was fine, not burning any oil or coolant. There are no shadow codes and no CEL VIA ISTA.
Engine mods are as follows: Stage 2 E30 BM3 Stage 2 XHP Charge Pipes Catless DP's Arm Front Mount Intakes N63 Intake oil cooling valve Lower temp thermostat 3.5 bar pre throttle TMAP's NGK 97506 at 0.22" gap Delphi Coils Recently Replaced the following (Less than 100 miles ago): Pre throttle TMAP's Plugs Coils All O2 sensors Ran Liqui-Moly Fuel System Cleaner Fixed boost leak with PCV Here are some data logs I got from today: https://www.bootmod3.net/log? id=6256055ad10b435c47ba6fd9 https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6256...729b0653705bb6 https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6256...729b0653705bb6 https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6255...90c6511ab8d2b4 I am out of ideas as to what it could be. Please Advise. Any advice is appreciated. |

your wastegate cycle looks inverted to me. On full throttle WG 30% and idle 60% it should be the other way around. Timing is 22 degrees to compensate for the boost that cannot be achieved, TMAP and MAP looks identical. Check your Boost solenoids, vacuum hose, etc. Other thing might be that you haven't replaced the manifold TMAP and your scaling isn't correct causing the wastegate to bleed the extra boost hence you are at 30%. If your map is by BM3 change your TMAP Sensor settings for Manifold TMAP sensor to OEM and reflash.
Hope this helps. |
