Can't do it

Been thinking of getting rid of the M5 for a while. 4 years old, had a few issues, but has been a good car. I have silverstone leather and it is pristine. The only problem is that he F10 is a boat in corners on the track.

Drove an M3 the other day. Liked it.

Came time to pull the trigger, and I just can't do it. No disrespect to the KING, but, I just can't bring myself to trade the F10 for the F80. I must be getting old, but the M3 felt like a glorified 1er (at this point I should disclose that my DD is a 3 month old M135). The interior was exactly the same except blinged. The F10 interior is special.

So I have resolved to keep the beast and add some comp pack sways, and an LCI steering wheel (it is a 2012).

I just can't shake the feeling I get when I drive the car and put my foot down (and hear the wife whinge when I do - priceless).

It's true the KING is the KING, but once you add sway bars to the F10, it's a whole other world. Turning becomes much more enjoyable. Good decision. The F10 is a keeper just based on reliability alone. The next one will be good too, but I'm sure with electric steering in G80 M5, the F10 will retain it's place in the history of great M5's.

If I want to upgrade my sway bars should I go with Dinan or Comp pkg?

I understand your feeling... I believe the current powertrain/drivetrain of M5/M6 including S63tu, DCT, Avtive M Differential is the best configuration any BMW has ever had... it's really hard to give up unless you want to go for exotic/super car...; however KING is still KING

There's many of us on here who have sold and bought other nameplates or even another M5. If you like it that much, hang onto it. The next M5 with AWD and most likely M3/M4 styling can't be any less impressive.

You seriously can't go wrong with either. It's just that the Dinan bars offer adjustability, so if you want to make it stiffer you can or not.
