M5 CCB set after 1500miles of regular driving

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 5,500.00

Item Interest
Hey,

Initially i planned to upgrade my 535xi stock brakes, but as i'm moving towards getting M3/F80 i'm dropping this idea.

These comes off a 2015made M5 with ~1500 mileage. No signs of any damage, all rotors have been toroughly inspected. No weight difference at all comparing to data found in .pdf floating around bimmerpost.

Shipping worldwide. PP/wire only, COD avail in Lietuva. Do not ask me if they fit eg. 550i as i'm no indy and don't know at all.

Each rotor packed separately, each calipier(pads included) too due to fragility.

plug n play upgrade for steel brakes for any M5/M6 (F10 gen.).

Cheers,
Matas

Does anyone know the service life of these brakes, before the rotors and/or pads need replacing?

I believe it's more common (eg. while usual tire service) to damage rotors than to wore them without doing it on purpose (heavy tracking with not compatible pads etc.)

Assuming no damage from careless mechanics, what is the typical service life in miles or kilometers?

As some members asked for more detailed pics, here you are. Now i'm litte tired of preparing them to ship with endless amount of bubble foams, styro, boxes... ugh.

I'm very interested but I can't overlook the fact that you have two different sets of front calipers pictured in your first post. In the 2nd set of pictures, the rotors look different than the ones in the first set of pictures.

Is there an explanation or reason?

This is the same set of rotors. Difference comes from lighning source. First were made outside without flash while latter were flashed to make easier to see cracks@holes if someone would like to count them according to .pdf data.

I have two sets of front calipiers, however one set is for sale only. First one came from M6GC, later i acquired single set from the very same car.

This is a scam, seller received my money since September, never received my brakes till now.
Seller keeps giving me bullshit excuses regarding to shipping issues, and now he doesn't reply at all.
I hope mod can help me to resolve this.

def fishy sale. always gotta watch out for these.
2 different sets of calipers on the first post.
price is damn too low. these rotors cost $3,000+ each.

life of CCB rotors last over 100K miles on normal (no track) usage.
pads will last about 70K miles. about 2-3 times longer than normal pads.
