Question:

I friend of mine is selling a pretty clean 540i with alot of recent repairs done such as head gaskets, all major seals, tranny rebuild all less then 5k miles on repairs. Paint is good, brakes are good, AC is cold .

Runs solid... ODO is at 170k..

The question is, he is asking $9k for it. Is this worth it? when the car books at $2k?

What would you pay for something like this?

here is the list of repairs actually:

-Complete Valve Job/New Valve Stem Seals
-Head Gaskets/Head Bolts
-Timing Chain Guides
-Vanos Adjusting Units Rebuilt W/ New Seals and Pressed
-Valley Cover
