Owners of MCB...would you order it again?

Every car I have owned in the last decade 3 911's, 2 E55's and 1 E63 have been either black, silver, white or grey and as my car which is aboard the Phoenix Leader currently just southwest of the Dominican Republic gets closer I am suffering from color anxiety. MCB is a bold step out there for me from the invisible and resale safe blacks, silvers, whites and greys.

For owners of MCB does it still spin your motor or when you open the door do you say what what I thinking? Love it in the showrooms. Any feedback on your long term impressions of MCB would be greatly appreciated.

Thx,

Dave

I've had mine for a year, no regrets! I've always gone with the grays, whites, etc as well and after owning an Alpine white E90 M3 I told myself next time I was going bolder and m-specific with my color choice.

MCB is in my opinion one of the best BMW colors of all time. Not too flashy but enough to set it apart. I get compliments from everyone on the color...car guys, non car guys, grandparents, women, etc.

Only color I would have considered over it would have been a special order Imola red but I wanted to take advantage of some year end deals and buy one already on the ground so MCB it was. You'll love it and it doesn't get old!

I still love it. I really believe this is the color which epitomizes the M Car.

I do like my frozen grey M5 better, but if I were to choose any gloss color, then it would be MCB again.

I had it on my X5M, and honestly I needed a break from it I found when I was looking for a new car. But it is dead sexy on the M5, maybe it was just too much on an X5M.

I love it, and truly believes that it's the best exclusive standard color for M5.

I wanted a color with a good balance of light and dark, and something exclusive to M cars without paying big bucks for individuals, and MCB fit the bill perfectly. It's light color but not too light like the Lamborghini yellow or White which IMO only look good on smaller sports cars, and any larger cars looks good in a darker shade, with exception of school buses and fire trucks. I felt SG and black are nice, but are kinda dull IMO, as I don't see the curves and details of fenders, front skirts quiet as easily as on a lighter color due to the black air intakes mixed in.

MCB also is not very "loud" color, so it does not draw a lot of unnecessary attention. A truly unique yet sleeper color! I love it.

Absolutely! Like you, I always had greys, white, silver and black cars previously. I never thought I'd get a bright, "hey look at me" color, but I love MCB and would not think twice about getting it again.

Same here. All previous cars were black, white, & silver. Took me a lot of thinking to decide on MCB. Having the car for 1 year, every time I look at it, I know I made the right choice.

the F10 M5 looks absolutely stunning in MCB, the car stands out, but in a subtle way. Also gives a hint of exclusivity as on the F10, MCB is reserved only for the M model and not the regular 5ers.

Well after a Deep sea Blue X6 and 640DMS, then a 330DMS F31 in Estoril Blue, I went for the MCB M5 LCI, love it, would I order it again NO as I have had many blue cars, but it still a really nice colour.

MCB is my favorite color on the M5. I would highly recommend it. The car pops and def will be noticed when your driving. Slap some gun metal colored wheels on it and

Yes. But if I wasn't afraid of my inability to keep up the flat paint, then I would order the flat MCB the next time.

agree with others, MCB is definitely the best color for this car. IMHO MCB compliments the size, shape and proportions of M5 F10 like no other color did to any M car before. I'd put it as MCB+M5 F10 is the best looking color+car combo, even considering beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Sold AW with no regrets, in fact I sold it after seeing MCB in person. AW is still 2nd best color for me but MCB is MUCH better in every way. This color gives me and i'm sure other people vibes when seen in person

I think in the long term, the white's and silvers do better in "looking" nice. The darkers colors are just tougher to maintain. Even washing with care, you do get the minor scratches so the darker colors will show more overtime. Keep in mind, if you have a polisher and some time, then you can make any color maintain that factory fresh look.

Before I sold my AW for MCB, I understood what I made the car in AW look not so good compared to some other colors, especially MCB. The problem was the headlight "eyebrows" would blend in with white color of the car and take away the intended 'look and poise' that this car was designed to have from the front, made the headlights look smaller than they are too. Another thing I didn't like about AW compared to MCB was that it was overused, every tom jack and harry would have it whereas one can hardly see MCB anywhere else than on M5, it shines, it glows, it's rich and vibrant. For me MCB >>> AW>Frozen Grey>Silverstone>Black>others
