Wheel/Tire Advice
Hey guys,
I'm looking to pickup a 2014 LCI M5 in the next few months (when the weather improves) and want to finalize the details of a wheel order. I know what wheels I'm going to order but need final advice on what size tires. I'm going with 20x10 in the front and 20x11 in the rear. I'm debating between 275/35 upfront or 285/35. Rear I'm going with 305/30. Obviously 275/35 would keep it the closest to the stock rolling diameter. 275 front & 305 rear would be 0.95 cm difference. 285 front & 305 rear would be a 1.65 cm difference. Stock is 0.85 cm difference front to rear. What would you guys recommend? Last edited by apsuard; 01-13-2014 at 12:34 PM.. |

I would definitely recommend the 275 in front. A 285 will give you a lifted look in the front. What wheels are you going with?

Thanks for the suggestions! I agree that 275/35 is the better option for the fronts to keep it as close to stock rolling diameter.
I'm going with Modulare B1 in Satin Black (or possibly Tinted Brush). Michelin PSS 275/35/20 front 305/30/20 rear. Finish on wheels is still a little up in the air depending on what M5 I buy. I leaning toward picking up a Sapphire Black beast and might go with a black out theme and get the Satin Black wheels. I will share pictures of final product! |
