i would think that they would just cut around it similar to how repainting would mask it off.

can you send us pics of your wrapped bumper if you are having problem with yours?

Here a some pics. I cut around the front sensor with a razor and it still didn't do anything. Do the parking sensors need to be calibrated after taking off the bumper? And where are the rear sensors?

looks sick

they do not need to be calibrated, but they have obviously cut corners, but not wrapping bumper off the car with removed sensors and then wrap sensors separately. Even though it was wrapped as 1 piece on top, it should cause any problems, maybe they did not connect them back on?

Whats the exact issue ?

When I put the car in reverse I don't get the proximity alerts like before. I'm taking it back next to week for them too take a look.

Thanks fellas for the input. Will update if the problem is fixed.

If your bumper was removed and sensors disconnected they do need to reset them or reprogram. It's a simple process but not sure the vinyl shop would have the proper tool to do it.

Had it happen to myself and another guy and it was back to normal after they reset them.

That's an awesome color. I'm thinking that would be something I could consider for my own car.

If the sensors are not obstructed then I could check the wiring. Did they remove the bumper when they wrapped the car?

I know plenty of people who have wrapped over the sensors and pdc works just fine. I think they didn't reconnect them properly or they Broke something. I'd let Bmw or your performance shop take a look first before going back to a "vinyl shop" to see if there is a connectivity issue, they aren't automotive technicians and have no business trying to diag a car.

looking at the pic again it doesn't look like the pdc is cut open. if the car used to be white, the sensor should look white (the middle of the round sensor). otherwise, the wrap is still in front of the sensor.

I agree with Redrckt as well. if the sensor has something in front it will constantly be on blast and alarming you that there is something in front of it.
