So, had the M5 now for 3 months and managed to get some pics of it today after a good wash so I could show you all some of the mods done so far

I wanted to stick with the gloss black theme and remove all chrome from car.

RKP front splitter from IND painted gloss black
Side wing markers replaced with gloss black versions
LCi grilles wrapped in gloss black
Grilles treated to the M stripes (not 100% sure about these so may remove?)
Rear Valance wrapped in gloss black
Carbon exhaust tips from Cyba
Door handle chrome trims wrapped in gloss black
Roof, fin, roof trims all wrapped in gloss black
M5 badge replaced with gloss black one (although it's too big for my liking so that will be swapped for a smaller one soon!)
Front windows tinted with a 50% film to blend in with the factory sun protection rears
Interior door/dash trim strips replaced with piano black
Exhaust Meister switchable flap controller fitted today

All the car needs now is a set of darker wheels but am struggling to find a set that fits! Already tried some Vossen CV3 reps and Ispiri ISR6, neither would clear the calipers. I know the Breyton Race fit and can get these in Matt gun but really wanted a 5 spoke concave wheel

Anyway, have a look at my pics and welcome your views

The M5 badge you have on the car now is actually the E60 M5 version.

The F10 M5 badge is the smaller one.

Yeah I know! I got it off ebay and didn't note the dimensions properly and stupidly removed the chrome one before offering this one up and comparing for size etc.

I am struggling tonight to find the smaller version in gloss black so may just spray the stock one with some gloss black plastic-coat and refit it again.

Looks great, like you I can't make my mind up on the tri colour on the grille.
I have pretty much exactly the same setup, where did you get your handles wrapped, wouldn't mind using someone who knows what there doing
Have you not thought about going satin black on your current wheels?

It's actually a 63 plate really. Cheers for the tip on the LED's, as
As thinking of doing them - did you fit them yourself and how long did it take?

I used Eclipse Tinting in Stafford - they did all the wrapping and the front window tint.

i know that your car is at least 13 plate and there are no m5's registered on 11 plate, as they started coming during 61! thats why i mentioned it

i did it myself! very easy!

http://bd8ba3c866c8cbc330ab-7b26c6f3..._LED_Light.pdf - use this instruction for front/rear dome

the rest is easy, i used plastic card

I thought they did them, was going to be easier to try and source in the UK but not looking hopeful, so will drop a message across to Nate and get a set sent over.

Looks good.
IND carries the splitters now. I like the look with splitters better.

Love your car. Very nice job. I do agree with you on those stripes in the grill. Looks M3-ish.

Not sure that the stripes suits the M5; the rest of your mods are all very subtle.

As to the wheels, have you considered painting the OEMs rather than replacing them? If so, try Lepsons - based in Gillingham, Kent, however, they are used by some of the pro-detailers.

I agree go with powder coating the OEM wheels. I got mine powder coated gloss black and they came out great.
