transmission light on but no check control warning
Anyone have an idea what might be causing this? It's a 2015 with CP and barely 3900 miles on it. the light came on yesterday and there are no check control messages in the iDrive and the car seems to run just fine. I plan to call the dealer on Monday but I couldn't find any more info about my problem.
the car is stock and aside from keeping my exhaust valves open there are no other mods. |

just a quick update on this. I bought an OBD reader and it turns out I was getting a code for the engine running too lean. After thinking it through I realize I bought gas from some dinky sunoco station the night before just to get a couple gallons in the tank in order to get to dinner. the following two days I tried clearing the codes but they kept re-appearing so I ran the tank nearly dry and filled up at a reputable Exxon station, cleared the codes, and so far it hasn't returned.
