I've had my eye on two Omegas, this being one. Congrats, she's a beauty front and back! What's the case size on it, 44.25? Omega's my dad's brand so I suppose it's an inevitability I'll end up with one.

I absolutely hate the face that such an expensive piece has a NATO strap, well a partial NATO strap, it cheapens the look IMO.

Thanks brother, yes it's 44.25 but since it is black it wears more like a 42. I absolutely love it.

Whats the other Omega?

Yea too bad it doesn't cheapen the price! The strap is actually an appealing factor of the watch for me which sets it apart. I have too many metal and leather bands. This watch is the exact fill for a niche that I was missing. I think that is the goal that Omega was trying to achieve.

In the Seamaster line the PLANET OCEAN 600 M OMEGA CO-AXIAL CHRONOGRAPH 45.5 MM, black dial.

What really brought me to Omega though is the Grey Side of the Moon but the Dark Side is pretty much co-equal. I have other 44mm watches so I was looking at the 45.5 size first, thinking that around 46mm was the minimum size I would consider although now I definitely gravitate towards the beauty of the Grey/Dark Sides. The downside of the Planet Oceans are that they look like a number of other competing brands' designs.

Now that is just an incredible watch. Congrats on being one of the lucky few. I've had my eye on a Snoopy for quite some time. This one will be another classic.

I love lume and Omega does not disappoint. The DSOTM is my second favourite Omega, I'm more of "the light" kinda guy so I like the Grey Side a bit more. Those two are the stand out from the "Side Of The Moon" collection.
Congrats.

Not a "3 Series" as per title topic, but close. :-)
Is your Rolex fake DB9506 ? In the pic it looks like the Rolex badge on the clasp is stuck on instead of being pressed into the steel! This video shows that that is a sign of a fake Rolex:

I'm debating on either Grey side of the moon or Dark side of the moon next.

I have a bunch of watches, but there are a few "go-to's".

If I am going sporty, then there is the first one.

If I am going more sophisticated, then there is number two.

(Ironically, the one with the suit is the less "sophisticated" option.) Nothing overly ostentatious - I am just too old and boring to pull that look off well.

Heh... well, most people would not know that. Most people would assume a Day Date cost more than both combined. Or a Breitling. People who get it, well... they get it. Those are the folks I want to have a chat with. The people who don't... well... they don't and I am cool with that.
