I'm sure you know but pushing the button under the start/stop button will turn off that feature and it will NOT return until you push that button again. It is NOT a default feature on the car, i.e., it does not "reset" to turning off the engine when you stop.

That depends on where you live. The car comes in Canada with it programmed to remenber last option auto start on or off. But you can code it to always default on (euro default I believe), always default off or last setting.
