but the lighter m3/4 uses 2 piston calipers in the rear, i would think that m5 being heavier would benefit from 2 pistons.

While I love the F10's styling, and all of us car nerds can clearly tell the differences between the new M5 and F10, well mostly, the majority of people probably will not realize it's a new model.
