I think BMW in a youtube video interview (on the F10 M5) said it's up to Brembo, so I am guessing Brembo still not making multi-piston rears.

but the lighter m3/4 uses 2 piston calipers in the rear, i would think that m5 being heavier would benefit from 2 pistons.

I was hoping for the AWD M6 as well---even an AWD M3/4! This merc does look like a C class, as has been pointed out, those merc sedans look alike and they are putting the AMG badge on lots of sub-AMG cars. I've got the M5 on order--I think we will be pleased when seen in person.

While I love the F10's styling, and all of us car nerds can clearly tell the differences between the new M5 and F10, well mostly, the majority of people probably will not realize it's a new model.
