Nutmeg vs Amaro vs Cohiba

Cohiba Brown no longer shows as an interior color for the M5, and we've seen the Amaro but not Nutmeg. We thought the Amaro was a bit orange so we're wondering how it compares to the Nutmeg. I've looked through the interior photo thread and seen some shots of Amaro and Nutmeg, but the color in the images varies.

We're not big fans of very light interior colors, but also don't necessarily want "basic black" so we were decided on Amaro until seeing it in person. Any opinions on how it compares to Nutmeg? Can you still order Cohiba at all? Is Amaro simply a new name for Cohiba?

Exterior color is almost sure to be Azurite Black.

Amaro Brown is completely different from Cohiba Brown. Cohiba is very dark while Amaro is lighter. There are one or two examples of Nutmeg around here.

Here is an example of AB.

Then here is an example of the Nutmeg interior. Hope this helps.

The AB is my M5. Note that the back of the front seats is usually not black, that is an individual request.

Thanks again avlnch!

Given the two options of Amaro or Nutmeg, I suppose we'd choose Nutmeg. I think I'd prefer Cohiba, that's why I'm wondering about non-standard interior color codes.

Would that be the "extended" leather option, or is there the opportunity to specifically select color per panel?

Cohiba is available for the M5. The back of the front seats is an individual request. Full individual leather interior (z1xx).

Chris
It was / is a request via BMW Individual (for the AB leather, the extended leather coverage as part of an Individual color, contrast stitching (white) and the different color seat backs)
You should be able to get Cohiba brown via the BMW Individual program but it won't be cheap

I've been very pleased with Full Nutmeg. I'm a big fan of earth tones. Below are some examples:

Another vehicle (better pics):

By the way, I believe BMW just added a new interior color, which is an earth tone.

I think I like the Amaro better. Nutmeg has a slight green hue to it which I don't like.

I ordered Cohiba after it was discontinued so it can be done. Very expensive though.

If you are interested in creating a unique individual BMW, you should take a good look into this:

It's like being in Germany and going to the M Studio.
