I wanted to start a post with pictures of the cars being driven at the limit. the car either sliding through the streets or driven on a track.

What do you guys recommend in terms of tread depth heading to a 2 day track event? I've got 4-5/32 on OEM tires. Should I use them up at the track and replace them afterwards or should I replace them before hand?

yay go the track day, use your tyres on track!

Here you go, only a little slide but after you've done it yourself you can give me tips!

Here's a better one in my old m3...

Hi Shahano

Full credit for the on street action, shes a big beast if you get it wrong! (as I have had some big spins on track) looks like a good spot with no one around (key point!!)

I always see all these guys in the USA with massive car areas/deserts in the back ground, these cars just love doing little drifts....

I've only had this cars for a couple of weeks now, but I have completely fallen in love with it. I also have an E30 M3 which is currently being rebuilt. BMW M power for the win.

It is a beautiful facility in middle Alabama called Barber Motorsports Park.
Wonderful elevations changes (http://barbermotorsports.com/park/images/Elevation.pdf ) and a very nice and clean facility. Also, if you are into vintage motorcycles there is a great museum on site.

Hi Guys, Not to hijack this thread but if anyone is interested in getting some pics like Josh and Chris posted, I am doing another PRIVATE track day at Thunderhill Raceway on Dec27. Amazing track and time. Had folks from San Diego to Portland join the group. pm me for more info. If you want to do drifiting, I got the skidpad too.......
