I have seen someones dyno of a BMS set 3 on 93 octane. None from Dinan are posted. You should watch the Video on Dinans website that shows their dyno setup. its impressive. DO they normally post dyno sheets?

Thanks Spinny. I currently have comp pkg. with BMS tune with boost set to 3.0 and 93 octane so the graph you provided was very helpful.
The Dinan tune seems more sophisticated which I guess was to be expected but hard to beat the price of the BMS. Now that Dinan is available for comp pkg. cars will be interesting to see some 3rd party dynos and head to head |

Oh so that is where it was going in the picture. How come you don't take it to the dealer, just have them do it?
My dealer is a Dinan certified outlet, does it matter? Are you changing out your exhaust for the Dinan? |

Why didn't you have it done locally?

@wrsbmw & @mcvaughan The tune was not ready and/or tested on an comp pkg. So I sent them our ///M to setup the stage 2 tune. The ///M should be headed back our way in a few days. https://www.facebook.com/16692370751...type=1&theater
Steve and his team have relayed great driving results and even more impressive dyno numbers. We are looking forward to the the real word experience with the car.

I almost made him give me the car back but he said that he was going to put the mechanic on it at 7am monday so it would be done that day. I have a silver 528i as a loaner, ugh, at least it matches my wife's X5 in the garage. I would have liked to compare exhaust sound because your exhaust sounded best in boot's video.

Hey, why do you have the European plate on the back of the car? Is that so no one will be tempted to drive it around? |

Thx I think the Akra sounds like the most exotic. And it's quiet when you want it to be. Still considering down pipes for my car but not sure which at this point. Mad that Akra is not doing any for our cars. I see they're doing them for F80/82. Sigh.

I would assume the ECU with Dinan piggyback would need to "adapt" similar to BMS or other piggybacks but maybe not since it seems they have more control.
Does anyone know at this point. If not guess we will find out. Also does anyone know what happens with the characteristics of the car when the piggyback is removed for service (one major advantage of the Dinan) |

With Dinan, BMS or any tune you do not need to remove for regular service. Because your going in just for service. Now, if you have a drivability concern you may want to think about removing it. But with Dinan you should have no issues at all. Most BMW dealerships are Dinan dealers, so you're covered regardless. |
