I'm not sure I get what you are saying there.
How does a Stainless exhaust expanding .5mm over its entire length help maximize airflow?
Also, heat dissipation from the exhaust (in general) would actually hinder performance. When exhaust gasses stay hot, it improves the scavenging effect, increasing power.

Thanks for the ride on Friday, boots, it was great meeting you! The car definitely sounds awesome and pulls like crazy!! I could feel the power difference in the seat of my pants especially around 4000 rpms and that scream was fantastic! Looking forward to getting all of the Houston M5 guys together for an exhaust comparo!

It was great to meet you also and happy you liked the way the car drove. Hopefully we can get the houston group together. I should have my wheels returned to me by next week and they will go back on, but since I leave out again tomorrow I will have to see you guys in about 3 weeks. I still want to hear that akra exhaust McVaughan. I know its badazz.

Correct. That was a bit confusing. I think he had some things mixed up when I was explaining the expanding of the system to him and how the tips do stick out a little farther from the bumper on a hot exhaust. We try to keep our EGTs how throughout the exhaust system to provide for better exhaust velocity. Thanks for clarifying
