The 700 Club....sorta
Had some time today to take the m5 to EAS in Anaheim for dyno pulls. They're great guys that always seem to be able to squeeze me into their schedule
The goal today was to see how the SSP clutches are holding up and what my wtq readings are. Since my last dyno, I've had SSP clutches put in with 3.5bar MAP sensors, now running 23.5psi boost. And of course custom stage 2 tuning by Alex@MissionPerformance now tuned for 5 gallons E85 mix Following Alex's advise and keeping things at current power levels on stock turbos.

Good eye. I'm going to ask Alex about that....maybe the fuel pump is maxing out??? AFR looked good though at 11.xx/1 to redline. R888R are great, and IMO, a must if you are running stage 1+. What good is all that wtq if you cant put it down? I get better traction with 710wtq and R888R than I did with 650wtq and 305 pzeros. However, I am running out-of-spec 315 tires on 10" OEM rims. I dont track (road course) my car where lateral load on that bulge may be an issue....just straight line is holding really well.

Huge gains ! Congrats !
Alex is the man ! Here is my cousin's M6 grancoupe on ESS's dyno a few months back. Stock turbo, stock clutches, stock airboxes. Mods are full catless exhaust, 3.5bar sensors and pump fuel. All work done at 1 of Mission Performance dealers in Murrieta, Autohaus Frankfurt. Alex came out and made some tweaking to the tune on the dyno there and then we went to ESS since they got base line numbers and wanted to go back to the same dyno to see the gains. |

Nice numbers schnell....crazy 700+whp on stock turbos. Alex usually limits the wtq to 650 on stock clutches; that was my previous wtq level.

Interesting you say that. I have a spare set of axles; not sure if I should preemptively send to DSS, or just wait for something to break lol.

Yes, the shop that works on my cars is a dealer for Alex. So Alex came out and pushed it as I requested for more performance. I have put almost 10,000 miles hard driven and no issues yet But, I am not trying to see if I break something. Just wanted to allow Alex to see what the platform can do in various stages. |

You guys should come to Shift S3ctor in October (Oct 28, 29) so we can see what our cars can do. It's a fun 1/2 mile airstrip event: https://shift-s3ctor.com/california-airstrip-attack/

Since you already have the axles, send them to DSS! You know they're a weak link and most likely there will be collateral damage if an axle breaks, costing you more than the axle upgrade by itself.
