Canada Bound F10 M5 Spotted! US Pricing/Ordering Info Comes in 2 Weeks

sweet. Ryan is checking everyday for info from BMWNA and nothing yet. I can't wait to see what these bad boys are going to come in at for US buyers

No official US pricing has yet been announced by BMW NA. You won't have to wait long though - it will come in 2 weeks at start of the NY auto show.

Not unless it was a customer car

. There's at least 2 BMW corporate owned cars in the US, a blue one in NJ and a white one (i think) spotted out west in California I think.

What color m5 did you see?

Canada being a smaller market by 1/10th or more is simpler. There will be 25 cars in Canada for 250 in the US or more...I bet 250+ in CA alone.

For the Americans here small fact, there are more cars in CA than all of Canada. We are a very small market compared to the monster US.

My X5M was in for service at Bavaria BMW back in January. At that time I could have placed an order for the M5, they were taking orders already. Do want a M5 so bad, I want to see one in person before I pull the trigger.

I just want to make sure to get my order in before they decide to stopping producing the 6MT just like they did for the 535/550.. I would have a freak attack. Need to wait till December 14th when Targa lease is over.

Car was awesome at car show in YEG.

Expect dealers will have some MY2013 in 1/2 qty by the late fall.

X5M is a beast, I know there is one in Rutherford.

Any idea on what kind of pricing you guys are going to offer on it Jimmy? (i.e. invoice + xxx, MSRP, etc.)

What color m5 did you see?

It appeared to be silver stone to me. I was on Vista del mar (behind LAX) when I saw it. I saw the unique front bumper because it was traveling in the opposite direction then I looked in side mirror as it passed and saw quad exhaust with M5 badging. Maybe it was the corporate owned Cali one.

Had a chance to see, sit, and start the car during the 12 Hrs of Sebring, awesome machine! Will post some pics when I download them. Can't wait for the 6-spd manual, is Canada getting a no cost manual option?

Car and Driver says $94,000 for a base car in the USA. Based on that, $101,500 for Canada is a price I can live with. Bummer to have to wait for September though. Right after plunking down $100k, I'll have to come up with another $3 K for a winter set!

It may very well come in around that price, but Car and Driver is just estimating for now.

I swear that I saw a grey ish ( not sure of the exact name) one at a Wawa on Monday this week. The thing sounded like a beast when the guy started it up and then sped away.

you should be able to get one way before that , no? - if youre in canada.

Yeah its a no cost option. I'd advise against after 4 years in a manual M3.

The DCT is so good its not needed and for a large family car with a twin turbo V8 engine there just is no need. In addition resale will be a bitch.
