As I mentioned in a previous comment. Your only option in Germany / during ED is to have it installed at a local dealer. However this will be more expensive than just waiting until your car is back in the US and have it installed at your local dealer (also saves you the hassle to ship the trim back yourself, I can tell you from my own experience you can't ship the box back via Fedex/UPS as it will be too big. Your only option is to check it as luggage on your flight back (and make sure it's packed/wrapped safely)

That sounds more of a hassle then what it is worth. When I get to Germany I was going to ask them what other types of trims are available and see what the cost is. I have seen other woods trims on non-m models so I am going to look and see.

I was emailed by another CA who told me that it is a port installed item and he could get it for me. So I am going to work with him to see what he can do.
