Alpine White versus Silverstone

I'm having a difficult time deciding. I love the looks of both and the less is more approach as both colors are clean and crisp. They both respond well to simple appearance modifications. The bogey in the decision is the wife has an AW X5M on 22" MORR wheels and not sure about having 2 AW M cars. As much as I like Silverstone something keeps drawing me to AW. Whatever I get it will be modified with appearance and performance goodies.

Of additional consideration is which color is easier to keep clean. I like that AW is easy to maintain and don't have experience with Silverstone. I usually wash my cars 1-2 times per week.

I appreciate the advice, feedback, etc...

I am not sure. I think it did for 2013 but don't believe it's offered anymore.

I might be biased. AW looks best. Silver is easier to keep clean.

Why not have 2 AW BMWs? Team up.

Advice: go with what you want. Doesn't matter if you both have AW in the garage, she may eventually get something different. I've had AW on an E92 M3 and it was awesome!

Go for Singapore Grey. I love it, easy to keep clean, and an M-exclusive color

Is Mineral White available? Sounds like a nice "compromise".

i am not sure what is offered in "standard" individual programme in US, but you can get any colour you want through individual programme!
its very unique white! i would definitely go for that one! shows lines of a car much better. unless u are willing to go frozen? frozen silver is badass!

I need get more info on the individual program then. Matte colors look nice but I'm afraid of the maintenance.

very easy to maintain! You will be surprised that it is even easier than any metallic paint!

speak to Stealth.Pilot and Avlnch, there is another member with Frozen Cashemere! I have "fake" frozen silver, but i treat it like Frozen Paint and my wrap holds up very well.

Interesting. I was under the impression that it was harder to maintain and more susceptible to scratching, etc... Maybe I misinterpreted that. I should ask my buddy who has a Matte Silver E63 AMG. I think Frozen Silver looks pretty killer.

Maybe the title should be renamed Mineral White versus Frozen Silver?

plus u can always clear bra it and u dont have to worry about stone chips

you can always do what i did and go for any colour u like and wrap it with transparent matte, so u get Frozen colour of original one

here is frozen silver painted m6gc and my Silverstone II wrapped transparent matte m5

colour looks identical and i dont care about flying stones from the cars in front of me if i stay close behind

Looks killer and for sure I will have a clear bra on the car. Waiting to hear if Mineral White is an option.

Frozen MCB? Educate me please. I tried the search function but is there a list that shows all of the Individual Colors you can order for a 2015 M5? Frozen Silver sounds like another option to consider.

Thanks

Yes, Frozen Blue Metallic, which to me in person looked like MCB, but in special Frozen edition. It looked really outstanding. I have not searched Frozen paint options but this one was proudly displayed outside Welt day of my delivery.
