If you live locally I would be more than happy to meet up with you. The RPi F10 exhaust are not as loud as you may think. The turbos keep the exhaust note from getting obnoxiously high.

Thank you! I actually did warm up the car prior taking the crisp video clip.

I am wondering what do you do with that OEM one-piece exhaust system it's not like you can put it in your single/double garage?

I'm having the same issues. I may have to build a simple ceiling mount and store it on the ceiling of my garage

Had my RPI GTM exhaust installed yesterday with gloss black tips. LOVE the sound!! It is now exactly the way this car should sound. Not happy with the aligning of the tips that was done at the shop that installed it. I feel they stick way too far out. When I called him back after seeing them for a day he starting making excuses that there is little room for play for adjustment due to support brace... Granted it was his first aftermarket exhaust install on a M5.

Anyone have any good rear pics of the RPI GTM installed from top and side angles? I've seen some that look just right. Going back to get the tips realigned at another shop on Wed that really knows their stuff and it would be great to have some reference pics. Thanks!

Tried to upload pics for reference but it said file was too large and not sure how to resize images to be able to upload.

It can be adjusted and a good shop will know how to adjust them. Close friends of mine have RPI and all had similar issues and later got them adjusted. Should be brought in to where it only shows the RPI logo. It's an aggressive look compared to stock which is hidden under the diffuser

These aren't RPI but this is where I had my set which was the same for my buddy who had RPI. You could even bring it in more.

Glad to hear you're loving the exhaust! I will say that aligning exhaust is a talent and takes some fiddling every once in a while. The thing with the GTM is to install all of the hangers and clamps loosely, align the tips where you want them, and tighten the hangers and then the clamps in increments so you can check the alignment. I hope this helps! and congrats on the install!

Here's my Rpi Gtm installed yesterday. I personally thought the tips are out too far. Then I saw 13M5f10's set up. It does look aggressive. I love the sound. Here are a few pics.

Got my tips realigned and I'm really pleased at how they look with the new alignment. Trying to send pics but nothing I seem to do seems to work as it says the files are too big to send. Taken with iPhone 7 plus. Tried compressing them too.
